Happy 4th of July!!!! We had a BBQ on the 3rd and had a few friends over:
It was a really nice evening and Kathryn loved having all the attention. I was sharing my food with her (or really her food with me) and then Kathryn decided she could pick up and eat a hamburger herself!!! It was the cutest thing ever!!!
And yes, I did make my traditional US Flag Cake. There's less and less that survives each year. I don't know if that's a good thing or not...it means that I don't get as much later on!
We had a fun evening and must have worn Kathryn out because she went straight to sleep as soon as she was put in her bed!!! I really need to have more of these evenings - or I would do if it didn't wear me out as well!

Yay happy 4th and JEALOUSY! It looks like our little miss Kathryn has had a haircut! I wish mine had hair! She is just growing up so fast. I think I say that in every comment, but she totally IS!
I love your cake. I always see pictures of them and think that some day I will make one....still waiting for that day...
